ABOUT ALISA
Embrace Your Space was founded in 2006 by Alisa J. Levy. Based in Silver Spring, Maryland, I provide residential organizing services to Washington, DC and surrounding areas in Maryland and Virginia.
Prior to organizing, I honed my skills in a successful career as well as in volunteer activities. Now, I have focused my talents in another direction - Professional Organizing. My experience, natural ability and passion can help you realize your vision of what you want your life and home to be.
An artist and crafter, I paint with watercolors and work with stained and fused glass, polymer clay, photography and a variety of other mediums. The time spent in my home studio brings me a sense of relaxation, joy and accomplishment.
As a member of NAPO, the National Association of Professional Organizers, I continue my education and professional development. I have been an active member of the NAPO-Washington DC Chapter and served as the Vice President. I am honored to be named their 2010 Volunteer of the Year. I have received a Chronic Disorganization Specialist Certificate from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization as well as Certificates of Study in Basic Hoarding Issues, Basic ADD Issues and Client Administration.
I have been a member of the Gaithersburg Hoarding Task Force for eight years.
